ANDREWS March 9, 1945 TO - MEMBERS LAWRENCE CHAMBER OF COMMERCES$ The 12th Annual Rural Acquaintance Smoker will be Tuesday evening March 20th - 8 o'clock, Community Building, This popular Community event sponsored by the Good- will and Agricultural Committees of the Chamber of Commerce brings together a large group of farmers and town men for an evening of entertainment - eats and good-fellowship. A master list of 1000 farmers with correct names and addresses has been carefully prepared by a special com- mittee headed by Chris Kraft. In order to avoid duplication it is important that we use this master list at the Chamber Office. A plan has been worked out to save your time in handling invitations and the purchase of tickets. You de- cide at once how many tickets you want for farmer guests and for your own use. Come or send a representative to the Chamber Office, check the guests you want to invite, indicate how you want to pay for your tickets, sign your printed invitations and they will be promptly addressed and mailed by the Chamber Office. All tickets will be 25¢ each. Remember the date - Tuesday - March 20th. We know you will again want to co-operate on this important builder of good will throughout your trade area. We urge you to act promptly in the selection of your guests. If you have any questions please call the Chamber Office, Phone 485. Sincerely yours, R. S.
