I wae happy to have your ietter of the 26th instant, and
enjoyed reading your interesting coment. Yes, sir, I did
say we weren't going to lowa State just for the trip. We
weren't able to carry out all ow’ good intentions, but at
the same time we had ideas.

jicking, but I was happy that one of my om boys did it and
in that way win the championship, rather than to have some~-
: e one else whip we. Louie Menze played football, baseball and

and fine gentleman.
