law in Dallas, Texas, and had very promising

set-up there. In 1930 he moved to Iowa City
where he was assistant secretary of Delta

Chi; then he moved to Cedar Rapids.

While in school he was an honor student,

and was very active in athletics - halfback

on Football team, went out for Track, on

Relays committee, student member of Athletic

Board.
