I notice by the University of Iowa basket-
ball schedule that Kansas U. is playing Iowa on Thursday
evening, January 29, in Iowa City, and I was very pleased
to learn this, as it has been some time since I have seen
one of our teams in action.

If it would be convenient for you and the
squad, I would be very happy to entertain you at lunch.
or at dinner, whichever is most convenient for you, at
the Jefferson Hotel in Iowa City on January 29. I know,
from my own experience, that you prefer to keep the squad
quiet before the game, but I would consider it a great.
privilege and pleasure if you could accept my invitation,
and I would be very glad to arrange the meal so that the
boys could have just the food you feel they should have
prior to a game.
