T am glad to have your letter of August 20th.
It came to my desk just after my return from the Iowa High
School Coaches Associaticn coaching school where Clark
Shaughnessy of Stanford, Bernie Bierman of Minnesota, Henry
Tha and I were on the teaching faculty.

I am glad for you to tell me about the two giants
thet Missourl has -~ Burns and Shelley. Missouri should be
in there with her giants. But Jack Ballard will mate; them
so we will not be faced with the seme difficulty we were
last year, that of pggmies battling giants.

We will be looking for you upon your return. We
will stert early practice as per my basketball letter and
we will be gled to see you out tolling with our gang.
