Mr. Gayle Mott has asked me to write you concerning
his qualifications as an instructor in riding.

Mr. Mott has a good personality, is pleasant and
agreeable. In my estimation he is a good instructor of
beginners. He inspires conficence and courage in his
students.

You doubtless know that he did not complete a
college education, and has not had much instruction in
methods and theory of teaching. I do not consider him
from the point of view of a college graduate at all, but
as a person who can teach people to ride, and one who
knows how to menage horsese
