ae Yesterday noon I saw Gene 0. "Red" Allyson off to the
Arnye smilies of times he has spoken to me about you, saying that you are
interested in attending college. I think he told me that you are going to
have a date with Henk Ta this week when he plays Creighton or Drake.

I am. yriding up today with Hank to Kansas City to
‘settle our play-off date, either in Kansas City or in Oklahoma City. He
is a fine fellow and a fine coach and you certainly would make no mieten?

Gene Allyson tells me that you are going to play in
Denver with the Old Home Bread of Sioux City. Lots of good luck to you,
John, on. your trip to Denver, After you get back, or even before you
start, if you are interested, I would be glad to have youwrite me as to
your probable desires of attending the University of Kansas, I am very
sure that you would like the place and eo what Red tells me I am sure
that we would like you.
