I ran into your dad at the Muehlebach Hotel last week
and he gave me the good news regarding your splendid promotion,
We are mighty proud of you the way you are sticking in there
_ and progressing. We hope it will not be too long until you
are able to return to your old stomping ground acd see some
_ of these torrid Big Six battles.

I am.a little scared on this Oklahoma game coming up
this Friday night. Gur team is not functioning so well,
rather spits and sputters now and then, but we have hopes of
getting pretty well up in the percentage column,

I will not write a long epistle but just wanted you to
know that we are keeping track of you and are always happy
for you when the promotions are up. With all good wishes, I
