My dear Dr. Allen:-

You may have heard from Xobert, but if not you will
be interested in, his new job. He went to U.C.L.A. in January
to complete his Master's degree. The other day he signed a
contract to be héad Coach of Basket Ball at Woodrow Wilson
High School,Long Beach. This is a school of 2000 students.

He follows a man named Fred Frazer who has held the job for
19 years. Bob is also to teach two classes in history.

I don't know how he will do on this job. +t looks
like a rather large assignment,b ut 1 hope he measures up to
it. 1 suppose he will be writing you for some advise,

Bob came back from the south ‘acific rather shot to
pieces in his nerves but his wife says that these menths of
study have made him over and he is like himself again.

H Ope your boys are out of the service by this time
and pursuing their professions.
