November 27, 1944. Mr. and lirs. Albert Haas, 427 Greenway Terrace, Kansas City, Mo. Dear Mr. and irs. Haas: I want you good people to know how very much I enjoyed the hospit- ality of your lovely home and family. I did so enjoy myself in visit- ing with you and your host of friends assembled there. You will pardon me in doing the courtesy in the usual way of writing in longhand, but I always defer these things until too late, and I am taking this rather inelegant way to express my deep appreciation for your thoughtfulmess in asking us over. I am sorry that Mrs, Allen could not come. ‘The granddaughter is waxing Healthy and strong, and is improving in looke as all grandparents would suspect and hope. I am sending you a basketball schedule and want you and Mrs. Haas to know that we will have tickets for the Haas, the Morrows, and our good Kansas City friends for all games. As you will note, the first game is with Rockhurst and we hope to have an entertaining team, if not a wonderful team. | . ‘With appreciation and best wishes, I am Very sincerely yours, Director of Physical Education, PCA:AH Varsity Basketball Coach.
