THE KANSAS CITY STAR. DAILY SUNDAY WEEKLY COMBINED CIRCULATION CIRCULATION CIRCULATION 450,000 MORNING AND EVENING 320,000 PAID-IN-ADVANCE 600,000 ao aR SUBSCRIBERS January 15, 193 Dear Phog: There isn't anything in the world I am not always happy to talk to you about. When you gét into this "important" stuff that is kind of out of my league; but I will give you a minor leaguer's opinion on anything that affects the man I think has done more for boys in this section of the country than any other athletic man. We certainly had a grand time as your guests at Madison Square Garden, and Lacy appreciated very much the opportunity to keep Chuck with him over- night. I will be seeing you on the 16th, and of course we probably will miss you on the:29th of Janu- ary which I will hate to do -= but that is the date of the Kansas Day celebration. However, I can get back for the 30th, and it is just possible I may get through in time to catch a train if they are on schedule, to see the game the 29th. I hate like the devil to miss your basketball games, and I have to figure up some way to get up to Lawrence, even if it means putting the car up for a month so I can drive up. Thanks a lot for all the fine things you say about me, and don't hesitate to call on me any time. With kindest regards and best wishes, I am Sincerely yours, Sat
