Tt seems as if we cannot cot things straightened out.

While Iwas sitting at my desk the other dey I wrote you
a note and sent you a check for $4.08, the same to cover two
day rate registrations on the 15th and 20th. On the léth I met
tre Roy Roberts, of the Kemsas City Star, at the Meuehlebach and
had @ conference witth him on s very important mission. He was
having a dinner date with the Navy people and not being able to

The reason I wrote you personally was to take oare of this
matter. You told me your help often got you in difficulty be-
cause you had to make so many changes, but I ses no excuse for
this error.
