Dear Bruce:

i would like to arrange a set up with the three Big
Six teams and a Big Ten team, if possible, for the 10th and
llth of December. However, I doubt if the Big Ten team will
reveive permission from their commissioner to make these extra
trips. You will remember last year Iowa called off our game
in Lawrence on account of the long travel, and I believe they
will have the same reaction toward travel this year.

Of course, it was perfectly all right for any of the
Big Six teams to travel to the Big Ten territory, but the Big
Teun could not afford to travel to Bic Six territory because it
is so umch further from Iowa City to Lawrence than it is from
lawrence to Iowa City. |

Anyhow, if we camot arrange a double-header for the
tw nights, the 10th and llth, let's play in Kanaas City on
December 18th. I have written the hall people asking them to
hold these dates tentatively until we oan get together.

When are you starting on your Christmas vacation trip
to the East?

: I heartily agree with you ~ I am in favor of making some
money for our own account, and not for the big-wigs travel tour.
