PHILBRICK, TREASURER Lincoln City Schools MURLE M. HAYDEN, SuPERINTENDENT Lincoln, Ransas October 9, 1940 Dr... forrest C. Allen; University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Dr. Allen: In March 1938 I wrote you from Beverly, Kansas about the control of athletes foot in our school. You went to considerable trouble to outline a plan for us to follow, We took your advice about toughing the feet and keeping the floor painted, The results were gratifying. Last year we tried out the Onox foot toughening mats and athletes foot was wiped out. We were not bothered with a single blister and several of our poys, for the first time in years, were free from obnoxious foot odors. I secured your letter from Beverly and submitted it to the Board here; they have decided to work out the same plan. Again I wish to express my thanks for your thoughtful consideration in 1938. MMH/el Yours truly, M rte herd
