Deer Bill:

Thanks for your fine letter of the 15th instante ‘ve
enjoyed knowing your sister, Mrs. Catherine’ Kreamer, and the boys.
But she is just like the rest of the Harrisons; a great traveler,
and an individual tremendously interested in sports.

Of course, I realize thet I have had a visit with you
since your letter was written, but, nevertheless, I want you to
know that we appreciated receiving your good letter. The !issouri
game was almost a nightmare, but I wes happy that Vance came through
in the clutchese I think Vance Hall is going to be a creat boy,
and I agree with you thet if Jim had continued, rather than dropping
out with his basketball when he wes a sophomore, he would be further
advanced.e

Ye hope thet we ere on our way up, but there ere a lot of
obstecles in the second semester vovagee I would not be a bit
surprised if I saw some of the er at Wichita. Anyhow, I
will be looking for theme

your youngster. Of course, we will look for the old man when we
see the rest of the family, because we have to have someone who
drives carefully. (This is no reflection on the feminine side of

thet they got up for one of the games, et least.

I wasn't a bit over-confident regarding thet Iowa State
games I was afraid they were going to take us, so I was gisd
Vother and Dad got to see Vance in action.
