As a result of our conversation, I am to go in and see Mr. Schlagle, the early part of this week. In the meantime, Mr. Van Cleave, Jr., is going to contact Mr. Merle Henry. I know that there was: a possibility of My being placed as a cadet teacher, in the case Mr. Smith was not rehired, However, I have been informed that the place was filled. This is not authentic. The person getting the job according to this information was Wikson Briggs, of Atchison, Kansas, who recieved his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, from Kansas State Teachers Coliege, Pittsburg, Kansas. He has one year's experience, recieved at Western University, Kansas City, Kansas. I am keeping in close contact with Mr. Van Cleave, Jr. By the end of the week, we should know definitely what is going on and what my chances are of entering this system.
