Dear Dr. Allen:-

In my absence, Mr. Gebert wrote -you in regard to a
proposed basketball game this coming season. I am sorry
that we were so slow but we have an athletic policy com-
mittee here who must 0. Ke any additions to our originaly
proposed schedule. As you perhaps know, committees are
sometimes a little slow in acting, therefore, the delay.

I am taking for granted that the date, February 4, is
satisfactory with youe I talked with Mr. Levitt and he

is also writing you immediately in regard to your visit
to Wichita. At that time the details can be worked out

satisfactorily. Many thanks for your letter and kindest
