University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doctor Allen: I have just completed reading your letter of July first. I would have answered sooner, but I ms returned yesterday from driving a family to Washington D.C. I was in to see Mrs Tom ‘Van Cleave, Jr. before I left. He was not in his office. “However ,. I have talked with Supt. Schagle, he referred me to Mr. Merle Henry. Mest . ente, “stated that I couid not expect to get into this system with- out two year's experience, and then too, I should have a master's degree. I have made application with the Southern Teacher's Agency, Chattanooga, Tenn. Nothing has come of it. This just about sums up my activity to date, except that I am preparing to send epplications directly tc some institutions, hoping that something will come of it. I do not know what additional help you could give at the present time. You have done so much to help me already, and I am gratefully appreciative. However, I will advise you as to any progress I might make. Thanking you again for your extended efforts in my behalf, I remain Sincerely Yours, Cedi Wogan 3 : 4 z ‘stcrienc teh serait en iit Toad Se Rea shail at ada DS Ninn ae hee t cae se See Silas ty i ata es
