UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI! cOLUMBIA February 16, 1940 DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION Dr. Forrest C. Allen University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dr. Allen: For some time I have been disturbed over the fact that I have never in my life been at the University of Kensas, and I think it is about time something should be done to rectify this deplor- able situation. Accordingly, I have in mind the hope of coming out to see the big basketball game there March lst, arriving about noon and spending Friday afternoon in looking around. I know, of course, that you will be busy, but hone, nevertheless, that you will arrange it so that I can meet the members of your staff and be shown around your plant by someone. I plan to drive out bringing Don Faurot and two other men with me. Naturally the question of tickets to the game arises. If you fee]. like furnishing three complimentary tickets in honor of the worthy cause, they will be very highly appreciated. (I say three on the assumption that Don will not need a ticket.) I have al- ready discussed the matter with Don and believe he may have written to you himself. In any case, I hope to hear from you soon. Most corcially yours, Hindman Chairman DAH/ms
