Dear "Phog" s—

I would very much appreciate it if you could
send me a few Football Schedules for 1959 if you have them in
the form of small stickers or cards such as those used last year.
I usually receive some from fred Ellsworth but this year the
Alumi Association neglected to send me any. I will be in Topeka
for a few days the latter part of next week and hope that K U
will be playing in Lawrence on the Saturday of the 2lst. so I
could drive over there for the game.

I haven't heard from Vance Hall directly but once
since he left Downs but understand from his mother that he thinks
they work them lots harder in College than in High School. I will
write him soon on the general subject of keeping up his studies
from day to day and not waiting until examination time to cram and
try to pour it all in for just the time being. Hope that he makes
good in his studies for I am sure that he will do all right other-—
wise as he is a fine boy and has lots of natural talent for athletics.
