Dear "Phog*

Time marches on! “O. B." Hartley, is at this moment in
the office, rehashin' days long ago at Mt. Oread. Here, I am
working for a living, and working hard, and "0. B." is Chairman
of the Green Committee of the Olympia Country & Golf Club at
Olympia, building a magnificent domicile where, from his big bay
window, ships plying in the Puget Sound and flocks of ducks
flying toward Mt. Rainier, do not tire his appreciative eye.

"QO. Be” mentioned something a moment ago thet I well re-
call. He took a snap-shot of a field goal I kicked in Colorado
vs Kansas. It revealed my right leg at a higher altitude than
it has ever reached sincee The ball is plainly visible as it
flirted toward the cross-bar. "0. Be” tells me that shortly
after that, the late Dr. Naismith asked him for the film and it
was given to Doc.

If it would not be too much of a bother, I wish that you
would ask his personal representative if he would look through
the Dr's effects and let me have the film, if it can be located,
I want to have an enlargement made of it and then will return it
if so desired. |

Been a long time since I journied back East, though my
sister and brother-in-law in Kansas City drive out occasionally
in the summer.

After conveying assurance of my warm personal regards,
will let "0. B.” dictate a few lines.
