Dear Phog: I have been intending to write you for qite some time, but it seems like I just have not got around to do it. I think you knew that I purchased the parr here at Kearney, and I took active charge the first of the month. I am mMmving a lot of fun on it, and while I am now a Cornhusker, I am still going toget just as much satisfaction as ever whenever Kansas succeeds in taking the Cornhuskers in any athletic contest. What I wanted to write you about is whether therewas any possibility for a job as an assistant trainer for a Kansas City Wes ort high school gra\gAte this year, by the name of John Bergman. His father for years ran bath houses at Sxcelsior Springs and his mother is with the Feldman-Hirsch He@th organization in Kansas City. Mrs. Hill tells me that she really knows her stuff. John has been working for the mens department of Feldman-Hirsch this winter and I think knows considerably more about rubbing than any student you would be able to pick up. He is one of the swellest youngsters I have ever known. He is an Eagle Scout and is a member of the aviation scout unit sponsored by the P W A. He wants to take his college work in aviation engineering. The hook up K U has with the government on . aviation, makes K U the best school he could possibly enroli in. | I expect to be in Kansas City this week end. The family is still living there and will do so until school is out. If there is any chance of you being able to do anything for John on a job, I would appreciate your dropping me a note at 6810 idgevale, Kansas City, and I would get in touch with John this week end, Member Audit Bureau of Circulations—A Leased Wire Newspaper
