Dear "Phog" s—

I don't wish to bother you as have some faint idea
as to how busy you must be at this time.

Our Local High School Superintendent has arranged to
set up a game from Friday Night to Thursday night next week so it will
be possible for me to bring Vance Hall and Allen Verhage to Lawrence
for the K U — Oklahoma game next Saturday, the 25th. My wife has to
take our oldest boy to Kansas City for dental work end has an appointment
for 9 A.M. Saturday so it is necessary that we leave here Friday P.M.

I am anxious for you to meet Vance Hall and wonder if
you will be in your Office or at home at any time Saturday morning. We
will need three tickets as "Bing" Smith has tickets for my wife and son
who will attend the game with the Smiths.

Just one more short paragraph to let you know that Hall
is still going strong. Has averaged 22 points per game in 14 games this
“eason. Against a big, fast Beloit Team that averaged 6t13e last Friday
night he scored 22 points in a game won by Downs 32-26.
