Dear Sir:

I am trying to secure as much information as possible
concerning the South Western College besketball team of
Winfield Kensas. We play this team at the Chicago Col-
iseum on January 4. I have written Frank Root of Kansas
State who lost to them recently. I thought perhaps you
might know something about this team and style of play «tc.
I thought that you might be willing to take time from your
many duties to drop me a line.

You perhavs do mt remember me as well as I remember
you at the National Basketball Coaches Convention, but I
have followed your record closely for several years and have
always thought that we might be able to some day arrange
a game with your team up here in Minnesota. If there is
any possibility of your coming up this way in another year
please keep us in mind.
