Dear Phog:

Ed Crane, George Gardner, coach of Southwestern
College, and myself and another fellow want to go down to
see the Kansas-Oklahoma Basketball Game.

First of all I was getting ready to write a
check for some tickets down there and I am just wondering if
you couldn't put us fellows on your team so that we could
get in. A fellow once told me there wasn't any use in ,
having friends unless you can use them so I am trying it out.
If you can't perform, say so, and I will send you more basket-
ball players ever chance I get and I would also like to know
when you are going through here. Whether you are going to
Stay in Oklahoma City or Norman. In fact, I would like to.
See you and talk to you. I didn't get to up to the Southwestern
last month when you were down there as you seemed to be so
damned popular with the women that I couldn't even get close
to you.

Please let me hear from you right away, Phog,
as I have to get these tickets at least by Tuesday.
