Dear Dr.Allen:?

Mr. Gilbert Swenson, our telegraph editor and a grad of K.U.,
wants to see your Missouri game ,March 5, I believe it is,
and asked me if I would ask you for tickets.

He wants to take his wife and daughter with him. Hesitate to

ask for that many tickets when 1 might want a pair for myself, but
since we have not asked for any tickets this year oe you
might not mind.

May I extend congratulations to you on the fine record you have made
with a comparatively green team. I was certain, from the start,

that Kansas had as good a chance as any team in the Big Six to win
the title, and my views are being confirmed.

Incidentally, I don't think I ever have extended thanks for the

copy of your new basketball book, which Imenjoyed very mech, and

which I reviewed. The publishers — me to send them a copy of the

review, but in rush of activities, I'm afraid I didn't get it done.
Possibly I can find when I ran it and still send $hem a copy.

I'm certain of one thing, that is that the book is the best

of its kind I ever have seen on any college sport.You are to be

congratulated on presenting a volume that contains so much for the

coach, the fan and the player.
