Dear Phog: Reference is made to yours of the 6th which I have delayed answering until I could look around a little for information as to what has been going on. Your state- ment was a complete surprise to me, but after investigating I find that this situation has existed for years and am even told that if the doors are not open the boys break in. There apparently is no reason in the world they should expect the use of facilities on the Hill and I am not sure the trouble arises entirely from High School students. However, I am sure the Board will take this matter up at our regular meeting in February and at least attempt to assist in some way in remedying this situation. I enjoyed the game last night very much and after talking the matter over with the down-town boys I am pleased to advise that we have agreed not to change coaches,at least before the end of the season. The boys showed a lot of the old time Kansas fight and also a lot of good basket ball and I am sure that every game they play this season they will at least have their adversaries very much worried. I am sure you will hear something about the other matter after our February meeting. With best regards, I am Yours very truly, i te * rx} Ge | ja
