Requirenents for a Major in Physical Education:

Students desiring to major in physical education are required
to take 18 or more hours of Edueation end 30840 hours of | ical
Education. The grade point average in major subjects must be at
least 1.5, and the cumulative grade point requirement is 140, Pree
requisites for practice teaching: 80 hours and 90 grade points, and
& grade-point index of 1.5 in the major. All candidates for a degree
will be required to present an academic monor of at least 20 hourse

 

Requirements for the Master's Degrees

For the combined program in Education and Physical Education
& student must heave a Pechelor's degree, with a major in Physical
Education, or the following prerequisites: Inman or Conparetive
Anatomy, 3 hours; Physiology, 3 hours; Bdueation, 15 hours;
Education, 10 hourse The required ten hours in physical education
may be replaced by two years of practical experience in coaching or
in conducting physical edueation work in schools or other formal
