Nevember 4, 1941 Mr. Delmar Curry : Kansas State High School Activities Ass. Reom 409 National Reserve Building Topeka, Kansas Dear Delzar, : Thank you and E. A. for your kindness in giving me the information that I desired. This is a very fulsome bit of information and I thank you both for it. I am always interested in the participation in high school activities and I like to keep up on my facts and figures. I am pleased indeed that Ernie Vanek is making a hit in Topeka. He's a fine chap and will go a long way. I'm afraid that they're a little too optomistic over our basket- ball prospects, because every one of the Big Six outfits are expecting a great team. We have a lot of sophomeres and they will be good before their competition is finished if the war docs not come, but as usual we'll give the opposition an argument and arguments, you know, always draw crowds. With all good wishes I an Sincerely yours, : Director of Physical Education and Recreation FCA/pg Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach
