The fight must continue if we are to hold the ground already gained and make additicnal

advances.

We should consider it a privilege to contribute to the fund which is used to combat Tu-

berculosis.

Monthly chest clinic, 15 days. 299
patients made 377 visits to clinic.

260 X-rays for patients attending
clinic. (More might have been
taken but for 6 months of last
year X-ray films were difficult
to obtain.)

Cod liver oil for needy children.

Purchase of a visible file for reg-
ister of known cases of tubercu-
losis.

Employment of a: part-time sec-
retary for the County Health
Department, who takes care of
records and has charge of the
register of diagnosed cases.

Assistance to rejectees and dis-
charged service men in obtaining
examinations and X-rays.

Assistance in follow up work of
surveys conducted by State
Board of Health.

Special interest and cooperation
‘in tuberculosis testing and X-ray
examination of food handlers.

This fund is used in the diagnostic and preventive work indicat-
ed on the margin of this page.

Seventy-five per cent of your contribution is used right here in °
Douglas County.

Enclosed will be found 100 Christmas seals which sell for $1.00.
Bonds are also available in $5.00, $10.00 and $25.00 denomina-
tions.

Association. A return envelop is enclosed for your convenience.
