Allen Director of Physical Education University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dre Allen: I enjoyed getting your letter very much, and immediately called your Son, Milton, on the phone, We had a nice talk and I sent him some tickets for the St. Louis University and Rolla School of Mines Game, last Friday night, which he said he intended to attend. As soon as possible, we will have lunch together, although it is a long way down tow, for me and equally far for him to come out here. We will plan to get together as soon as is possible, He said that he felt he would be in &t. Louis, for six months at least, end I have asked him to come out at any time end wateh our practice. Milton also spoke about doing some officiating, so I have put his neme on our list of Officials, hoping that he will be able to work for us. From the looks of our Schedule and comparing it with yours, it's going to be a difficult task to play each other this year. Let's hope that we can do so in the future. We are trying to build at present and you lmow what a job that is. I do want to send best wishes to you for another successful Basketball seasone After Milton and I have had an opportunity to visit, I will write you again. With kindest personal regardse Sincerely yours, RuK/al Ru. KINNAN Athletic Director
