November 27, 1943 Dear Board Member: In accordance with Article V, Section II of the By-Laws of the Kansas Congress of Parents and Teachers, the following Nominating Committee was’named at the Post-Convention meeting of the Board of Managers, April 1943: Mrs. Lucile Rust, Manhattan, Chairman Mrs. William Downs, Hays Mr. W. T. Markham, Topeka Mrs. L. R. Fulton, Wichita Mr. W. M. Richards, Emporia According to Article V, Section I,-of the By-Laws of the Kansas Congress of Parents and Teachers, Group one, consisting of the President, first Vice-President, and Secretary is the group to be elected in 1944. These officers shall be elected for a term of three years. Those holding these offices at present are not eligible for re-election to the same office. Article V, Section II, of the By-Laws states: "In the year of election of group one the nominating committee shall present to the newly elected officers, the hold over officers, and the district directors nominees for the chairmen of standing com- mittees." ‘Please return the inclosed questionnaire to Mrs, Lucile Rust, Chairman, with any suggestions by December 18, 1943. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated by the Nominating Committee, as we do want to nominate to the state offices the best qualified persons available.
