Dear Sir:

I received your letter and a copy of ''Jayhawk Rebounds''*
last week. I am looking forward to future copies of ''Jayhawk
Rebounds'', as I enjoyed reading the one you sent me very muche

Last Friday I also received the basketball you sent me.
I have an o1d basketball which I have been using in my spare time,
although it is just about worn out. I certainly appreciate the good
One.

I am kept quite busy here on the farm. I am deffered until
September, 1944 , although am not sure if I will be deffered after
that date. I am looking forward to going to college after the war.
I hope that will be in the near future.
