Harold “Pie” Traynor played third base for the Pitts- burgh Pirates many years and also served as manager of the team. Many regard him as the greatest of all third basemen and his batting average was away up there, .366 in 1930. Leroy Parmelee was a great major league pitcher for many years and also pitched a number of seasons in the minors. Regarded as one of the finest coaches of pitchers in the business, we are fortunate to have him with us at our annual coaching school. Notice that the baseball classes will start Monday af- ternoon, August 21st, at 3:30. They will continue through the 22nd and 23rd. The latest in baseball mov- ing pictures will be shown. RULES and OFFICIATING Special sessions will be devoted to the discussion of the football and basketball rules. The changes in the rules will be explained, some of which are very import- ant, and time will be devoted to the demonstration of the proper procedure in officiating both football and basketball games.
