My dear Dr. Allens

This is to advise you that the University of Kan-
sas Physical Education Corporation Board are ree
commending to the Chancellor and to the Board of
Regents the adjustment of the reduction in salary
that you received several years ago and are ine
creasing your salary $200.00 for the next year,
the amount to be paid by the University of Kansas
Physical Education Corporation.

The Board wishes this to be understood as a gese
ture of good will on their part and that the in-
crease would have to be on a basis of year to year
so that if the need arises for the curtailment of
the budget after next year then the Board will be
in a position to do so.

Of all years this year seemed not to be the time
to expand our budget, but the Board feeling keenly
the need for the adjustment of this former misun-
derstanding, we wish to take this method of making
adjustment.
