M. W. KELLEY P.O. BOX185 AUSTIN, TEXAS May 28,1940. Dr.Forrest C.Allen, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. : ยข Soma hee ad it Me a ale i ci BN aia igi ies ae lia St ea ops Dear Dr. Allen; 6a I was glad to learn that you ere going to spend a few days in Austin this summer, and would have answered you sooner in regard to a place for you to stay if I had had an answer to gige you. I was unable to learn what provision was made for visiting coaches and instructors. | It was decided a couple of days ago that the visiting coaches of the Texas High school Football Coaches Association, some four hundred in number, would be houses in the regular student dormitories for the sum of five dollars for the week. Now I don't know whether that same provision will carry over for your short course or not. It looks to me like Austin is just"breaking _ out" with places to stay. Every type and manner of place will be available. In all depends on what kind : of place you had in mind. Probably the coaches would like to have you stay with them so they could question _you twenty-four hours a day. Surely, withthe many contacts you have had with coaching schools, you have some very decided ideas as to the type of place you 7 would like to stay. Will be very giad to help you / locate a place to your liking. > ee We expect to be up through Lawrence some time in June and will probably see you if you are there. Sincerely,
