This will acknowledge your letter of
October 27th., accepting my invitation to speak at our
Zone Meeting of Lions in Miowa the evening of November 9th.
Needless to say I am very h@ppy to receive your acceptance.

You have asked for some data concerning
Lionism. I am enclosing copy of Our Constitution and By-Laws.
This is a 1936 edition but nevertheless contains the same
foundation material that we now stand one On Page 2 you will
find the History of Lionism; On Page 9 you will find "our
Name and what it stands for."; also Our Slogan. On Page 10
you will find the "Lions Code of Ethics". And on page 11 you
will find the "Purpose of Lions Clubs". This will give you
an idea of what we are and what we are trying to do. Lionism
was started by Melvin Jones of Chicago, Illinois who is still
Secretary-General of Lions International.
