Dear "Phog":

I happen to be the Zone
Chairman for the Lions International, said Zone consisting
of Clubs in Caldwell, Anthony, Harper, Medicine Lodge, Kiowa,
and Coldwater. We will haye a Zone meeting the night of
November 9th., at Kiowa, ansas. This is a banquet followed
by @ program and a mixed audience. We like to have good,
snappy programs that will inspire good attendance.

As Zone Chairman it is my duty
to secure the Speaker of the evening and being a K. U.
Alumnus I have turned my eyes toward Mount Oread. I am
convinced that you are the man I would like to have address
us and extend to you an invitation to be present in Kiowa
on Thursday Night November 9th for such purpose.

Lionism inspires a man to render
service to his community and it's citizenship without any
hope of financial gain personally. We believe in good
citizenship and the making of a better community in which to
livee You as a Coach have had a lot to do in building
Character and good citizenship in the young men that come
under your instruction. I am sincerely hoping you will
accept my invitation to be our speaker of the evening and
if you will I'll furnish you'with some Lion Data. From
past experience I know that the audiences appreciate a
good humorous talk which bring out some good points to
