one of the high spots in her days at Louisville,

a long letter, but I just couldn't resist waiting
longer to thank you on behalf of the Allens for
the kindnesses that you have shown to our loved
ones far away from home, They elI love Louisville
and they love the Kents the more,

first days that we eame to Lawrence, how your
gracious family teok the entire Allen brood under
your wing, fed and nourished it both body and soul,

We were so s that we were away
when you came this summor, played golf with
Dr. Stoland the other day and he told of the swell
visit with you, Dr. Anderson and your other many
friends discussed your stay in Lawrence, They
thought it was far teo short.
