i have just written Mike Ahearn
asking thet he and you come down here carly the morn-
ing of our Sangas State-Kansas game in Lawrence on
November 15 and play this new i8-hole course at the
Gountry Club. 3 :

| While the fairways have received
quite a bit of damage from the hot, dry summer, the
greens are in marvelous shape, and on some parts of
the fairways you can struggle along with a degree of
pleasure.

3 Will you confer with your amiable
partner in this great Scotch game and see if your
iaison works out? I can get a fourth menber frou
around Lawrence that knows his way around, and I am
very sure that we would all have ea dandy time, both
before and during the game.

| Of course, our part of the entertain-
ment would necessarily cease prior to game time, as I.
know you people would want to sit with your own group.
However, we would love to have you for this little golf
tete-a-tete. You never have had opportunity to play on
our course, and we are anxious for you to try it out.
