A. The SECOND CURRENT meeting of the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
of the Joint Basketball Committee met at the Hotel Astor,

NewYork City, October 26th, 1931. Meeting was called to
order by Chairman St, John at 5:30 P.M... This was a dinner

. meeting.
B. Minutes of the First Current Executive Committee meet—
ing were read and approved.
3. Those present were:- — Messrs, Menton, Hepbron, St.
. John, Tower, Metzdorf, and Brown.
: Those cxcused weret- - Messrs, Rowe and Crocker, also
. Mr, Ralph Morgan, |
4, Mr. Metzdorf reported progress for the Committee on
"Income and Expense", Report accepted,
. MOTION;- All matters pertaining to finances be re-

. Terred to the Committee on "Income & Expense", -— CARRIED.

6. MOTION:—- That Messrs, Metzdorf and Morgan constitute ©
the Committee on publication of the Guide and on "Income.

& Expense", This Committee was instructed to confer with.

Company, regarding publication of the Guide and aoe

y, MOTION:;—- The nest meeting of the Executive Committee’
. be held in December, date to be decided later, —- CARRIED.

S. MOTION:— The dates and place of the Annual meetings
of the Officials Conference, Rules Revision Committee, Ex-
ecutive Committee and Joint Committee be referred to the
December meeting of the Executive Committee, - CARRIED,

9, MOTION:— The question of the Joint Basketball Committee
cooperating with the Basketball Coaches Association in de-.
Ciding the dates of the Annual Meetings be referred to the
December Executive Committee meeting, - CARRIED,

10. Financial report of the "Blocking Committee" was pre-
sented by Mr. Metzdorf and on motion the bills presented
.were ordered paid,

aan Secretary Hepbron reported progress of the Committee
on "Free Throws" stating that Chairman Rowe and his Committee
had the matter all set up and was going ahead with the
collection of material and would be ready to report at the
Annual Rules Revision and Joint Committee meetings,

12. MOTION :~ That agenda for Executive Committee meeting,
evéning preceding the Joint Meeting, be referred to the
Decenber Executive Committee meeting, - CARRIED.
