Incidentally, this fellow, Jack Baer, is from Oklahoma. You asked

me in your last letter to enlighten you on that subject. He was
baseball coach at Oklahoma University. I believe you'll recall him
now that I've mentioned his background. Seems he had a thing or two
to say in the Gerald Tucker incident - as I recall you Feely put him
in his place,

Dan Partner just came in and said “Hello®™ and wished he could cover

some games at K.U. this fall and winter. I wish I just could see them,

I guess we are two “homesick boys", This California fog and no sun-
shine doesn't agree with us, even tho’ it is very cool.

By the way, be sure and tell Henry, Elmer, and Dean I'm pulling for
them and that I'm hoping they will win every game. It looks good to
see an all-Kansas coaching staff. That’s the way it should be. Let's
see those Jayhawks go to town.
