We have a position of History and assistant athletic coach in our Senior High School, which we would like to fill with a competent young man. We would like someone who is capable of teaching the History, assisting with athletics, especially football and basketball, and who, above all, is a gentleman and can be depended upon to treat boys as young gentlemen. The History position will be four classes in our Senior High School. This is one less class than the normal load. The athletic work will come after 3:00 o'clock in the after- noon. In our athletic setup, we will have a coach and two assistants who will help the coach in the afternoons with major athletics. The athletic work will run the full nine months. After basketball season, they will have spring football practice, softball, some baseball, and some track. However, our chief sports and interest are football and basketball, The salary for this position will be on the same scale as that of our regular teachers, except he will have one less class to teach and will be paid an additional $340.00 ag athletic assistant. Our beginning salary this year for the Bachelor Degree, without experience, is $2,000.00. The $340.00 additional would make $2,340.00 for the position. We also allow $20.00 per year.for experience up to and including eight years. Married men maintaining a family receive $180.00 more than single men.
