Dear Mr, Van Voorhis:

Your letter arrived just at the time we were
leaving for Oklahoma City and just after we had played
in the tournament in Kansas City.

I assure you I will keep your letter in the
strictest confidence, I am well acquainted with your |
high school at Medicine Lodge. I spoke out there about
five or six years ago. You have a fine school and you
are located in a very progressive and aggressive com-
munity «

There are a number of good men returning from
the service who have played under me and I. will be happy
to suggest someone to you in the very near future,

Last night we played at Manhattan and today at
one o'clock we are leaving for Lincoln, Nebraska, and
so I would rather answer your letter fully after I have
had some — for reflection.
