Dear Fellow Teacher:

This folder, Save the Under Fives For a Better World
Tomorrow, is significant enough to need no elaboration.

You doubtless heard the Honorable Henry J. Allen,
former governor of Kansas, and Save the Children Federation
Chairman for British Child Aid, speal in Hoch Auditoriun.

He made an eloquent plea for these British unfortunates, and
I am merely passing along to you this printed matter. I am
also sending a blank for the Jayhawk Nursery Shelter for
British Children. Please make your check payable to "Save
the Chidren Federation".

I am sure that you feel as if you have been driven to
death with drives, since we have had drives, drives,” and more
drives. In the donation of your gift will you please forget
the solicitor and think of the words uttered by the Great
Nazarene, who said, "Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of
these, my brethren, ye have done it unto Me."

earliest convenience a blank duly filled out for the money
you care to give? I know you are growing tired of receiving
letters from me, but, in my own behalf, I might say that it
has not been much fun for me either, unless I think of the
great amount of good that ean be done with your gifts «-
that is my compensation!
