Dear Professor Gagliardo,

On Boverber 5 I sent copies of the enclosed letter to each

of the faculty members on the list given to me by you for
persons in Fowler Shops and Robinson Gymnasium on the drive |.
for funds for a Jayhawk Nursery Shelter for British children.

fhe only person who has responded to our plea is Miss Joie
Stapleton who says that she is already taking care of a 9-year-
old boy from London and does not feel she is able to pledge
additional support for British ghildren.

Uy check to you was sent on November 7. This is the sum total
of my report on this @rive to date. It is possible that these
people have sent their contributions directly to you. If any
of them come to me ZI will see that they are forwarded to you
