Deer Dr. Allen:

We ere attempting to play baseball again this year
and I was wondering about the possibility of scheduling
games with your team.

Mr. Getto told me last year that it might be
possible to stop in Wichita for a game this year enroute
to Oklehoma. We could return the game in Lawrence almost
any time you suggest as we are going to play games with
Haskell, Rockhurst, and Baxer.

We are not very good but it might give you a chance
to use some of your second-rate pitchers and reserve
players. There are many K.U alumni in Wichita who would
be interested in seeing your team play and it will be
possible for us to use the Lawrence Stadium if you care
to play there.
