I get out of Chicago at 11945 PsMe on the Pennsylvania, out of Cincinnati as 9300 Ale and arrive at Springfield at 10:45 Aelle on Monday the 4the Elwood Pitzer of the high school staff has asked me to luncheon with him that day. Then coming back, I get out of Springfield at 6:55 AseM. on the 5th andarrive home at Lawrence, Kansas, at 8:00 AeM. the 6th. I am making a hurried trip on accomt of other conflicts. I believe the luncheon date with Pitzer is at the Shawnee Hotel. I have asked him to make my hote] arrangements,so I am leaving that up to him. I certainly will be delighted to see you and if it is at all possible, I would love to see your dad, but I know how busy he is. I am sending. you the last of my Jayhawk Rebounds that I wrote last August. These went monthly to the boys overseas and in the camps — here in our countrye I have been trying to write the nineteenth one since the was over, but the incentive is not the same as it was during the war.
