Dear Dr. Allen:

The Board of Directors of the Lawrence Country Club
Wishes to express their thanks for your letter of June 23rd,
pertaining to the condition of the shower room and to the con-
dition of the walk west of the club house.

This constructive criticism was taken up at the
meeting and acted upon at once, As you doubtless noticed, we
accepted your kind offer by going by the gym and picking up a
box of the Cramer powder for the control and prevention of
athlete's foot. Mr. Patton scattered sand over the unsightly
walk the next morning. We have a load of chat ordered for
this walk.

We appreciate your interest and pride in this clube
I might say in passing there was no discussion concerning your
shirt.
