MONTROSE, KANSAS ST. FRANCIS, KANSAS The Judy Ranch BRAD JUDY Montrose, Kansas — Sept. 29, 1942 Dy. Fe. C.. Avian, Lawrance, Kansas. Dear Dr. Allen: Please accppt my apolopies for being et in acknowledging your prompt reply to my letter concering Ted “hite. +t is my hope that ted has been around to see you long before this. We were both in to call on you two or three times during the first week of school, but you were always either in conference or out of the office. I am sure that the only reason that Ted did not contact you before leaving Lawrence was one of pure innocents or ignor- ance. It surely would seem that he could have acknowledged your fine letter at the time of his father's death. We got Ted fixed up with a good job under Mr. Kloog of the business office, so that he is well taken care of from a fin- ancial point of view., I want to thank you, however, for offering to do all you gould for Ted. It is my bel#éf that he is deserving. I know that you have helped a lot of worthy boys during your twenty odd years at K.U.....for which you surely will have a lot of extra stars in your crown! Thanks again.....-and luck to you, Phog. Very truly yours, Brad Jud
